i am trying to play online in matchmaking, but no matches will show up for me to play, but it says that 51 games were found. I did this in every single playlist and still nothing. someone tell me why because I want to level up.

I don't know, but Xbox Live has been acting up ever since a million kids got 360s for Xmas.

thanks to them, all of us that actually had the initiative to get one before the holidays are forced to suffer.
i cant recover my gamertag. so if i want to play a 360 game, i either have to do so not logged in (which is stupid) or i have to go to my friends apartment to use his 360 since my gamertag is stuck there.

Halo 3 clan?
I want to make a halo3 clan with people on my friends list but i have no idea how to strt one. i know that during matchmaking if someone has a gear by their gamerta it means there part of one. Any help would be appreciated. Thankyou. ; )

when veiwing your freinds list you tap left and it should show the clan your in. i thinks its the y button for clan options but it should bring up a window to start a clan or quit your current clan

How come I can't play Solo - Multi / Xbox Live in Halo 3?
When ever I try to play like Team Slayer or Something in that category i will be sent back to the waiting lobby ( I will get into a match with people and then get sent back to lobby which is giving me Exp Penalties.. ) Anyways I'm not sure if it's because my Brother moved my 360 while it had Halo 3 inside it and something happened or its Halo 3 I don't know .. ( O and I can log in to Xbox Live and chat to people but cannot play Matchmaking Forge Campaign or Solo Mode.. ) So can someone help me please.. Thank you

On the dashboard go and do an Xbox Live connection test and if it says your NAT type is strict than that could be the problem. If nothing about your home network has changed and the problem is recent it might just be a problem with the Xbox Live network at the moment. I hear they're working to fix it and we all get a free Xbox Live Arcade game soon because of the problems they've been having.

Halo 3 Medals in Custom games?
Does anyone know if you can get the medals in customs games and it will count as if you got the medal in matchmaking. I would like to get the ninja armor and want to get the medals quick. Thanks.

#1- You get the ninja armor (HAYABUSA) by collecting all the skulls, You get the Katana sword on your (HAYABUSA TORSO) back by getting all of the achievements. If you just want the armor and helmet, just go to Youtube and do searches for each skull.. there's tutorial videos for all of them there.
#2- No, and you can't bring a party into Lone Wolfs, which is where several of the acheivements have to be earned. A lot of them require a "Ranked FFA game". The only Ranked Free For All game is "Lone Wolves".
Each acheivement will tell you specifically what needs to happen, and where it has to happen. They avoid custom and social games because you could just get a bunch of friends together and work on each other's acheivements.

Xbox Live help!?
I got an xbox for Christmas and i only have a memory card.A few days ago i created an xbox live account and it worked fine.But the next morning I tried to play and on Halo 3 it says "Matchmaking requires an Xbox Live Membership with permission to play multiplayer over Live." I have silver membership and the marketplace works.I created another account and it did not work either.Any suggestion??

You might have to get gold membership to access multiplayer features.

I just got halo 3 and i want to play it online. I already have xbox live. I just don't know how to get it started/get in a lobby/etc. on the halo 3 main menu there is start solo game, campaign, matchmaking, custom games, forge, and theater. there is nothing that says xbox live like most other games do. i just want to play halo 3 on xbox live with a bunch of people.

Good ol' Matchmaking. It will allow you to choose what mode you want. (Lone Wolves, TS, Big Team and so on)...then start search....easy as that
It takes a minute. Just let it do its thing after you select start matchmaking :-)
