XBOX Live wireless NAT?

Does anyone know how to switch my wireless NAT to "Open" rather than "Moderate" or "Strict"? I log on to matchmaking and it says my connection will be slow due to this, and it is. I have a Belkin router.

XBOX Live wireless NAT?
In order to configure the Router to connect to X-Box Live - you need to forward the following Ports :

UDP 88 ,UDP 3074,TCP 3074

In order to find out the IP Address of your X-Box, check the Network Settings of the X-box Dashboard !!

Follow this steps to open Ports on your Router :

On a hardwired comp ( LAN cabled to the router ) open 192.168.2.1

Click login-press submit( guess u have not set any PW

Click on Virtual servers

CLick the box which says Enable

In description- type X-box,Inbound port use 88,select type UDP, private ip enter the one of your x-box, private port-enter 88

Follow same steps for UDP 3074 %26amp; TCP 3074 accordingly

Once done-scroll down and click apply changes-that's it ,this shld work !
Reply:If you're familiar with logging-into your networking equipment, you should add the Xbox360 to your DMZ [De-Militarized Zone] port. That will keep your Belkin router from interfering with the way your Xbox360 accesses Xbox Live. That's what usually fixes everybody I know to Open NAT.

You may want to call up Belkin and they may be able to walk you through how to access your router and configure a wireless DMZ port.

Otherwise, you may have some more configuration to take care of.

***Also, if you don't feel like putting the Xbox360 on the DMZ, please ensure that UPnP [universal plug-n-play] is enabled in your router.***
