when we are in halo 2 matchmaking people are disappearing how are they doing that does anyone know

Well, most likely the occurrence of this incident is rare. You, or someone else is very laggy, so they disappear quite often. Press the back button to see if their signal is good, or if yours is bad. Another reason could be that your Xbox Live is very laggy to you for some reason, which you may want to contact xbox.com for that. Te last reason is just a trick I used to do. It takes about a minute, and you could disappear and then reappear somewhere else, which only occurs on Lockout, Backwash, and a couple more. Actually, maybe all the maps, but that's the main ones I used.
