Basically the 3 ports you need to open to optimize xbox live are UDP 88, UDP 3074 and TCP 3074. To open these you need to put 10.1.1.1 into your browser to bring up your modem menu, if it asks for a password, it should be Username: Admin and Password: Admin.

When you get in, you need to click the "Advanced" tab at the top of the page, and then the LAN Clients tab at the left of the page. Here you need to type in the Static IP for your 360, this can be anything between 10.1.1.3 to 10.1.1.254. For mine I used 10.1.1.12, Host name can be anything you like, I just put Xbox. Now that you've done that, hit apply.

Now on the left side, click the virtual server tab, this gives you some presets for port forwarding. Click on the "user" radio button, then click add. Now for here, you need to type in a Rule Name, i just put XboxLive (you cant have spaces or numbers). On the dropdown box, click UDP and then in the "Port Start", "Port End" and "Port Map" boxes, type 88 in each of them. Press apply.

Click UDP again and in the three boxes type 3074. Press apply.

This time Click TCP on the dropdown box and type 3074 in the 3 boxes and press apply.

Now the 3 ports you need should have been opened, the last thing you need to do is save and reboot your modem, to do this click on the "Tools" tab on the top of the page, then click "System" on the left side and click "Save and Reboot". Now when you connect to Xbox Live using the Modem the NAT should be open.
