I got xbox live back in November of 07 and tons of people played I only had to ait in matchmaking 5 minutes to play but towards the end of december i'd have to wait 30 minutes to play and game and barley few arranged games so I was wondering now that the heat of halo 3 has died down do alot pf people play xbox live halo 2 now?
Do alot of people still play Halo 2 online?
A few months after Halo 3 came out; the population of Halo 2 died down greatly. For fun, i attempted to play Halo 2 on xbox live the other day, and i had to wait about a half hour before i gave up and shut off my 360. To answer your question, no I don't even think that anyone plays Halo 2 on xbox live anymore.

Reply:when halo 3 came out barely anyone played halo 2, but it was such a great game that people started to see failure in halo 3 and switched back to halo 2. so yes alot more people are playing it now
