i bought the first one but does anyone think bungie made the first one free because they put up the mlg in the matchmaking?And will the second map pack be free in a l8er time?
Halo 3 second map pack?
No. It had nothing to do with MLG. Just like with the map packs in Halo 2, whenever another map pack comes out, the one before it becomes free. This new Legendary map pack that comes out next week will be free probably around Aug/Sep when the Heroic Map Pack is about to come out.....

I don't really think they made the first map free cos of mIg so more people could enjoy them really... not to sure tho!
When they do make the second maps, after a while they WILL come free, prob for the same reason as the first set of extra maps!
