Halo 3 finished the fight difficulty?

I beat the game on easy the first time to get a feel for it before i went into matchmaking, and after that i beat some lvls on heroic, some in normal. Now i decided to do them all on normal. Do i have to do the ones that i have done on heroic(and not normal) on normal, for it to show up on my profile, or do i have to do them on a lover dificulty, even though i beat them on a higher one?

If you beat a level on heroic and the achievement pops up you don't have to play the normal level to get the normal achievement you get both for playing heroic..... or all 3(normal, heroic, and legendary,) if you beat it on legendary..........but be careful where you start your campaign there are 2 different types solo and multiplayer. if you start a campaign on the solo, you cannot continue it in the multiplayer - even if you play it by yourself
