Halo 2 on xbox live, is this considered cheating?

I like to snipe from the roofs of headlong, but the place I snipe at can only be accessed with a banshee, is this considered cheating?

This is quoted exactly from bungie.net:

"Q

What is considered cheating or against the rules in Halo 2?

A

In a nutshell, Bungie considers cheating to be the act of manipulating or interfering with aspects of the game or networking to give yourself or your team an unfair advantage. The exact methods and cases will vary as people invent new ways to do bad things. Our team is constantly monitoring the latest exploits and issues and will be reacting as necessary. Common examples of things that will get someone banned from Live play include "standby cheats" (i.e. interfering with the network connection to disrupt gameplay), using hacked maps or game files or manipulating matchmaking to "boost" your way up the leaderboards.

There are also other issues beyond actual cheating that could result in punishment by either the Live Team or Bungie."

Bungie is talking about hacking the game or "modding", you can look up modding on youtube, it's pretty cool, but can be used for cheating

i know the exact place you're talking about in headlong, i use it a lot, you can snipe people only when people can snipe you so it's fair
Reply:If the game lets you do it without special moves, IE, the moon jump people do to get on top of a roof, then go for it.
Reply:Pfft, It's not cheating at all, I know how to get out of almost every multiplayer map in Halo 2, Don't worry, Unless your cheating or using flying-mods theirs no issue, I'll show you heaps of other glitches and interesting things on live, add my gamertag: hyperclaw
Reply:No. You are using your mind and thinking of ways to have an advantage over the other team, your not using exploits.
Reply:No that is not cheating. I have seen tons of people do things like that on different games.
Reply:not cheating, but i dont consider it nooby
