how much does xbox live cost a month? is there something called a silver and gold live membership? if so whats the difference?
with silver (say for halo 3) can you still play all the games and things gold can? like with matchmaking?

xbox live gold is 8$ for 1 month 20$ for 3 months or 50$ for 13 months. Silver really does nothing. Gold lets you play online have a buddy list and halo 3 matchmaking.
